Serangoon Stadium


Serangoon Stadium,Political risk consultant Azhar Ghani said he believe this could be due to changes in the electoral boundaries, Which has led to some new wards.In the 2006 GE, there were 24 rally sites, searchable as Serangoon Stadium, Choa Chu Kang Park and Boat Quay.Political parties are already busy preparing for the impending polls and are hoping to snag rally sites based on their support base. Serangoon Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Serangoon, Singapore. It is located at Yio Chu Kang Road. It has a seating capacity of 1,200. It was built in 1993 and opened to the public on 1 March 1994. The stadium is open to the public where it is used for recreational activities. Many events had been organized in the stadium since its opening. One of the most important recent event is the Workers Party WP rally that was held in 2006 general elections for the Aljunied GRC constituency.
